Getting back to normal
I planned to have a long lie in this morning, but after so many days of getting up at the crack of dawn, I typically wake up early anyway! It’s nice to spend the morning having a leisurely breakfast and a read of the newspapers rather than rushing off to the garden for a change. Over breakfast, I check the papers for coverage of the show. I’m always curious to see how the interviews I have given appear in print and how the pictures of the garden look. It’s always strange to see my face sprawled across the pages though!
I get a call from one of the Bradstone team still down at the garden this afternoon. Apparently an astronaut has been to visit the garden and is going to give me a call in the next few days. I’m really excited to hear what he thinks of the garden. I wonder if he would be happy to have a space like that if he was stationed on Mars!
